Lore
Jackie was born in Ul’dah to an Ala Mhigan noble and Hhetsarro mother from Shaaloani; they lived happily through trials and hardships. At age 10, Jackie was informed of her parent’s grisly death from a voidsent attack on a trading caravan which led to her downfall of petty thievery and poverty. Through the age of 16 to 20 years old, Jackie lived most of her 4 years living, fighting and sleeping in the Coliseum to make ends meet. After a riveting and grisly tournament in the Coliseum, Raubahn conversed and discussed with Jackie that he is taking her under his care as her new gaurdian; which was her late father’s wishes on day before his gruesome death. Jackie then spent several years in espionage and mercenary work under the leadership of Raubahn.Special Lore: After receiving a mysterious letter with vague intel on an S-Rank mark, Jackie makes her way to the designated destination; her arrogant nature giving her overconfidence of her prowess which caused the creature itself to ambush her. Fighting tooth and nail, the beast attacks her weak spot which leads to Jackie's blood spraying the rocks. A sharp cry of agony erupts from her throat before it dies down to a gurgling croak; the beast leaving her to die rather than devour its bounty. Before her body gave away to the aetherial sea, a void gate appears in front of her fading vision; an alluring yet eerily familiar voice reverberates in her ears and offers Jackie a deal……that she couldn’t refuse. The voidsent appears before her and declares that it was them who feasted on her parents' bodies and watched Jackie from the Void, waiting for her to make a fatal mistake. Although, it chose instead to use Jackie for a better purpose that would benefit them and her at the same time, a double-edged sword of sorts. With no other choice, Jackie accepts the contract with weak but desperate cries; reveling in the anguish of the woman, the voidsent becomes one with her body and uses its power to kill the beast that riddled her body which is now marred with jagged, horrid scars. Now a vampiric-like creature, Jackie harnesses her newfound immortality into careful consideration with her new Avatar, Morrigan; traveling distant lands and purging the ill-minded, other voidsents and Imperials alike that taint the star she calls home.
Combat
Physical Combat: Jackie’s fighting style is both deadly and dexterous; using her agility and strength to balance and control the strengths of attacks to prevent herself from tiring herself out. She can harness Morrigan’s Umbral aether into her punches and kicks in small, temporary bursts as a minor damage boost to an enemies weak point. Her fighting style has moments of unpredictability due to her past life starting fights and working under the pressure of espionage.
Best comparison is various forms of mixed martial arts; taekwondo, Muay Thai, Hapkido and assassination arts when training in Kugane.
Magical Combat: Due to her naturally potent aether and Umbral alignment, Jackie can cast her magicks in quicker succession; though it drains her mana quicker.Passive Traits: High regeneration (which slows as her aether wears down), moderate damage reduction due to honing her body to handle levels of damage, her white eyes can see in dark rooms and caves but she has to wear glasses with special aetherial lenses during the day due to photosensitivity. Due to her mother's healing background, Jackie has a more dense potency of aether; yet it requires more time to recover.
